The concert of the Bi-2 rock band was to take place in Omsk at the Krasnaya Zvezda stadium. However, 15 minutes before the start of the concert, the musicians suddenly cancelled it and left the venue. According to First Deputy Minister of Youth, Physical Culture and Sports of the Omsk region Ivan Kolesnik, who came to the audience instead of the artists, the rock band was not satisfied with the banner with the inscription "Za President", which the stadium administration had previously hung above the stage.
"The reason (for cancelling the concert - IF) was the following: many people know that we have a big, big banner at the Red Star with the flag of our state on it and the inscription "Za President". The Bi-2 group was not satisfied with this banner, while they were not going to touch the others (advertising banners - IF); this particular banner did not suit them. They refused to play in the background of this banner and covered it with a black mourning cloth. They did it secretly, at night, without coordinating it with anyone," Kolesnik said.
Elena Gladysheva, Managing Partner of RI-Consulting Moscow Law Office, commented on the decision of Bi-2 to cancel the concert in Omsk. She noted that the relationship between musicians and event organizers, including organizations that provide a venue for the performance, as a rule, are regulated by a contract, which spells out all the nuances of their relationship.
"In this case, talking about the possibility of bringing the musicians (of Bi-2 - IF) to responsibility, we must take into account the conditions that the parties agreed in the contract, including the setting of the venue, the presence or absence of any decorations, as well as the possibility for the musicians to unilaterally withdraw from the concert in case of non-compliance with the conditions specified in the contract", - clarified the Advocate for Interfax-Russia.ru.
As for the fans of the band, according to Elena, in any case the organizers are obliged to refund the full cost of the purchased tickets. Citizens also have the right to demand compensation for travel expenses to the city where the concert is to be held and for hotel accommodation.

"To get a refund, you should first contact the ticket office or the ticket sales agent, where the ticket was purchased, and ask for a refund. If the consumer was rejected, it is necessary to apply directly to the organizer of the event, the information about which should be indicated on the ticket," - explained Gladysheva.
