On April 15 in Sochi the first stage of the Business Clubs Sailing Championship will start. Lawyers participate in the regatta not only to join the prestigious and exciting sailing sport. From professional point of view it is also a good platform for networking and brand building in the business community.
ABOUT THE CHAMPIONSHIP
The first stage of the new season of the Business Club Sailing Championship will start on April 15 in Sochi Grand Marine on J70 sport yachts. The series of club regattas, first organized last year, has already become the largest platform for dialogue between Russian entrepreneurs on the basis of prestigious and exciting yachting. The championship was organized by the leading business clubs: Roscongress Sport Club, Moscow Capital Club, Atlanta Business Club and Business Yacht Club with the support of the All-Russia Sailing Federation.
The 2022 season will bring together more than 20 leading business clubs and business communities, including the Pravo-300 Legal Club, Roscongress Sport Club, Leaders Club, Skolkovo Alumni, Atlanti, Imperial Club by Casino Sochi, Russian Managers Association, Firsts Club, Forbes Club, Business Yacht Club, Royal Club by Lotte and others.
The winner of the Business Clubs Sailing Championship season will be determined by the results of the races in three stages, which will be held in Sochi, St. Petersburg in June and in Gelendzhik at the beginning of October. The growth of the number of clubs participants allowed the organizers to hold regattas in the format of races with transposition and increase the number of racing days.
"The championship of business clubs gathers a very good audience, with whom you can hardly talk so long and in such a good atmosphere at any other time," says Roman Voronin, Partner of RI- Consulting and a member of the Skolkovo Alumni sailing team. You can see the championship as an opportunity to meet a lot of new interesting people. And the events themselves are held in the best locations in our country, continues Voronin. The lawyer admits that sailing is one of his few hobbies, and encourages everyone who has the opportunity to try it: "Sailing is quite open, it does not take a long time to learn. There are a few people on the boat and even if nobody but the captain knows anything about it, it can still turn out very well. At the very least it will be fun, interesting and exciting," he explains.
