Discussion session. Sanctions Risks for Business.
On May 31, 2022 Roman Voronin, Managing Partner of RI-Consulting will moderate the 1st Session of the Conference from the Vedomosti. Legal series - Defendant Business.
The ongoing economic crisis forces the state to seek the optimal balance between support for entrepreneurs and the criminal law. On the one hand, there is a need to develop the class of medium and small entrepreneurs, on the other hand, it is impossible to allow a surge of crimes in the sphere of economy. Actions aimed at decriminalizing deeds in the sphere of entrepreneurial activity have not yet borne fruit.
An equally important issue is the distinction between the areas of responsibility of managers and beneficiaries. Very often, contrary to the logic of the law and common sense, the beneficiary becomes the scapegoat for what has happened in the company.
During the conference we will also talk about corporate fraud and ways to combat it, define algorithms of protection against criminal prosecution, and develop a checklist "What to do if someone comes to you.”
We invite Clients, partners and friends of the Company to the conference. It will be interesting!
